Have any of you guys ever just had an affinity for a specific cuisine? I love all kinds of food, but thai food really opened up my mind to Asian culture. Been learning a lot about the history of Japan, China, Laos, and Thailand. All this research because of some noodles and peanut seasoning.
Has anyone else ever been influenced about a culture or way of life from food?
you're seriously messing with me right now! AHHH one time i had an avacado burger that was fucking amazing! all I have now is shitty ramen noodles...this sucks!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been inspired into learning about other cultures, I prefer simply enjoy their food... btw curry ftw

ReplyDeleteI love Japanese food, well most Asian food :3
ReplyDeleteI got a thing for fruit like strawberries, peaches, apples, and bananas. I don't normally get inspired by food but I like what I find tastes good. I had some sweet and sour chicken. It was great and was one of those cheap microwave meals so I'm guessing legit s&sc tastes even better. Pocky was, eh, okay. I don't see what the big deal about it is except for it is Japanese and Japanese stuff is desu desu kawaii or something.
